Mandorlini (almond) Cookies – Gluten and Dairy Free

(12 customer reviews)

Mandorlini are gluten- and dairy-free from an old recipe from my hometown Sezze, Italy. I’ve mastered the technique from my grandma Vincenzina and revisited the old recipe with my mom Patrizia. The taste hasn’t changed: it is just like a flashback of my childhood when I have one!

One bag contains 5 cookies.

I discovered these at Novelty Hill Farm at the Farm Store and I think I’ve persuaded everyone to get them since. They are delightful!

Ciao Meriaten, I can tell you love them… who doesn’t 😉
      Grazie for your beautiful review!

  3. Sonali O.

Chewy, but not sticky and very sweet. At first the flavor reminded us of macarons, but that made sense since they are made of essentially the same ingredients. If you like macarons, then you’ll like these!

My grandma Vincenzina recipe, super good! Grazie!

Tiny, but incredible little flavor bombs.

    • bellangelacooking

      Love the “bombs” comparison! Grazie!

These Mandorlini cookies are so wonderful! Love the almond flavor. They are a soft, chewy, delicious treats to pair with your favorite tea.

If only my grandma Vincenzina could read all of it, she would be so happy! Grazie Liliana!

Angela’s Mandorlini are my all time favorite little cookie. I never want to share them. They are the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. The only problem… they are soooo good I never want to stop eating them. I highly recommend them, but be careful, you may want them ALL the time.

I agree they may be addictive, fortunately, gluten-free and dairy-free 😉

  10. Monica La Porta

These almond cookies are perfect if you have dietary restrictions and need to eat gluten-free and dairy-free. The taste and texture are just too good!

Cute little cookies. I had never had it before but it sure is yummy. It is hard to describe as it is so different than the typical sweet American cookies. It has a chewy consistency in the middle. Not too sweet and has a hint of almond flavor. Perfect for your afternoon teas with girlfriends.

Grazie! My nonna Vincenzina sure is so happy that her cookies are so loved!
